Nicholas Vanburgh carried out technical design, tender and contract administration for these shop units, which replaced sheds associated with a listed pub.
We were brought in later than we would have liked, and had to redesign some elements and instruct some work carried out by a previous builder to be redone to ensure building regulations compliance. We oversaw the remainder of the build through our contract administration service, regularly visiting site and resolving issues.
The end result are three EPC A-rated commercial units, two of which have disabled access toilets, and one with window that can be used as a serving hatch for a takeaway food business.
