Coronavirus (COVID-19) notice
Like all business, we are making temporary changes to the way our business operates during the Coronavirus lockdown, but we are continuing with business as usual as far as possible. We are not arranging or making visits to sites, holding in-person meetings or visiting people’s homes during this time and are largely working from home.
We still welcome new enquiries, obviously with the understanding that no survey or physical meeting will be able to take place until after the lockdown. However, there are elements of work that can be carried out ahead of physical meetings or site visits, so do not hesitate to get in touch if you’re considering employing our services.
Extensions and alterations to existing buildings
Existing buildings come with their own unique context and constraints. We offer a comprehensive renovation, extension and remodelling service. Past projects have included garden room extensions, chimney remodelling, and combining two cottages into a single larger house.
Working with historic buildings
Whether the project is a medieval church or a 17th century farmhouse, we have experience in carrying out the necessary heritage appraisals, listed building applications and creating designs that respect the historic character. We bring a thorough understanding of traditional styles, materials and techniques, as well as the demands of modern building regulations and planning requirements.
New and custom build houses
In our new build designs, we listen to our client’s needs, and then draw inspiration from the local context to meet them. All our designs are bespoke, so you’ll get what you want, without the compromises of developer-built housing.
The quality we achieve in our projects often comes down to our attention to detail. Our clients often commission us to design bespoke windows, doors, fireplaces, staircases, gates and brickwork which give their buildings a unified feel and style.
