Thank you, Sam Joy

As he moves on to pastures new, we would like to express our gratitude that, since May 2021, we have been lucky enough to have had Sam Joy working at Nicholas Vanburgh as an architectural assistant. Over the three years plus he has been with us, he has provided the peace of mind that the work asked of him will get done, without fuss. His CAD drawings are clear, attractive, and well-detailed, and he has shown a good understanding both of how buildings work, and the industry.

Sam joined us after graduating from De Montfort University with a first-class degree in Architecture. Throughout the course, he developed interest in the aesthetic value, longevity and adaptability of traditional design and materials, which inspired his dissertation titled ‘Why the Implementation of Neo-Traditional Architecture in New Housing Projects within the UK can Improve Well-Being and the Long-Term Sustainability of Architecture’.

We now wish Sam luck as he returns to full-time studying for a Masters in Architecture.
